WHERE TO LODGE YOUR VISA APPLICATION

The Australian Government has introduced new visa application procedures for visa applicants lodging their applications in Lebanon.
From 9 May 2011 applicants will need to lodge their paper-based visa applications and provide their biometrics in person at the Australian Visa Application Centre (AVAC) located at:

9th Floor, Tabaris Square,
Achrafieh, Beirut, Lebanon.

*Applications for Citizenship by Descent, Australian Declaratory visa, Resident Return visas and Refugee and Humanitarian visas will continue to be lodged at the Australian Embassy in Beirut and will not require biometrics. Appointments can be made by:

What is the Visa Wizard?

The Visa Wizard is an exciting on-line tool available on the Department of Immigration and Citizenship’s website which will assist clients to find relevant information on visa options tailored to their specific circumstances.

By answering a limited number of questions the Visa Wizard will return a visa or visas that are most likely to meet the individual circumstances presented by the client.

What it the Citizenship Wizard?

The Citizenship Wizard is an exciting and intuitive web-based tool to assist clients to understand which type of application for Australian citizenship suits their personal circumstances.

The client is presented with a selection of questions. Based on the client’s responses, the Citizenship Wizard directs the client down an appropriate citizenship path.
