Direct Aid Program: Projects of 2004 - 2005

1. Hearing aids for children in Southern Lebanon through the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon and the Lebanese Welfare Association for the Handicapped.
2. Training of school students in Tripoli to reduce violence through the Lebanese Council to Resist Violence Against Women.
3. Provision of an industrial clothes dryer and educational materials for children at the Druze Orghanage in Aley.
4. Vocational training in industrial sewing for single mothers through the Committee of Humanitarian and Social Services in Tripoli.
5. Training of volunteers to use an education package to raise awareness about domestic violence through the Lebanese Council to Resist Violence Against Women in Beirut.
6. Rehabilitation of a water reservoir in the demined town of Beit Yahoun through the United Nations Mine Action Coordination Centre and the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon.
7. Replacement of windows in the Notre Dame of Annunciation School in Douma.
8. Laboratory equipment for school children of Deir Kifa Official High School in Southern Lebanon through the United Nation Interim Force in Lebanon.
9. Semi industrial washing machine and dryer to the Assembly of the Sons of the Church in Nabaa.
10. Educational and recreational equipment for the children and Youth Centre Nahr El Bared Palestinian Camp through Development Action Without Border NABA'A.
11. Co-operation & Non violent games for non-sectarian houses in Jounieh and Batroun through the Lebanese Association for Civil Rights.
